Itinerary in detail
Day 1
We shall set of from Kampala/Entebbe to kibale forest national park. The drive shall last approximately 6 hour drive. On arrival we shall check into the lodge and relax for the rest of the day.
Day 2
After and early morning breakfast we shall head to the tracking start point for a brief briefing and grouping the head out into the forest to start the trek.
The trek last approximately 3 to 6 hours depending on the location f the chimpanzees. After the track we shall head to fort portal town for lunch then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Day 3
We shall have an early morning game drive hoping to see a variety of wildlife ranging from elephants, kobs, buffalos, hippos, leopards and lions if lucky. We shall return to the lodge then later return for an afternoon boat ride on the kazinga channel. This boat ride brings us up close with the wildlife along the water banks sunbathing like the crocodiles, hippos, and elephants and a variety of bird species.
Day 4
We shall transfer to Bwindi forest
Day 5
The big gorilla trekking
Day 6
Transfer to Lake bunyonyi
Day 7
Transfer to Lake Mburo national park. This is Uganda’s smallest national park. Here we shall have an evening game drive where we shall be able to see zebras, elands, giraffes, buffalos, and leopards among o0thers.
Day 8
Optional game drive, park walk, cycling before we return to Kampala/ Entebbe
